We strongly oppose the new rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that singles out home health workers to deny them their fundamental right to support their union and collectively bargain for retirement and health care benefits. Make no mistake: this is a direct attack on home health workers – disproportionately low-income and minority women – who do the heroic work of caring for seniors and people with disabilities in their own homes.

Today, the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) announced its endorsement of H.R. 1046, the Medicare Negotiation and Competitive Licensing Act of 2019, introduced by Congressman Lloyd Doggett (TX-35).

Despite our active participation in this war, Congress has never voted on or authorized U.S. military intervention in Yemen. The passage of the War Powers Resolution today, after a years-long campaign by the Progressive Caucus, signals a major shift in our foreign policy and makes it clear that we will not tolerate U.S. involvement these horrors.
