The Federal Workers Union rallied Thursday morning at the Capitol. "The Stop the Lockout" protest called on Congress to end the government shutdown so everyone can get back to work.

"My own wife, who processes veteran's claims, came home this week in tears that she had hundreds of veteran's claims. Some of them will probably die before the claims were processed and she's been told to go home and not work on these claims," explained J. David Cox. "How do we do that to the men and women who served this country?"

Reverend Jesse Jackson also attended the rally. Many say they will be looking to Thursday's negotiations with President Obama, in hopes of a quick resolution.
