The Co-Chairs of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Reps. Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) and Keith Ellison (D-MN), have written a letter signed by members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus to Ridgewells Catering, the parent company of Capitol Host, which services the cafeterias and catering events in the U.S. House of Representatives. The letter urges Ridgewells to seriously consider the requests of Unite Here Local 23, the union representing those employees, when renegotiating their contracts.
