WASHINGTON — Following an internal Caucus vote, U.S. Representative Emily Randall (WA-06) is now an official member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

“Congresswoman Randall is a champion for working families, and we are proud to welcome her to the Congressional Progressive Caucus,” said Chair Greg Casar (TX-35). “Congresswoman Randall has a deep personal commitment to protecting Medicaid, and we will work together every day to stop House Republicans from ending Medicaid as we know it this year.”

“We have a fundamental responsibility to fight for our neighbors, not against them—to guarantee that everyone has access to health care, housing, economic stability, and opportunity,” Congresswoman Emily Randall (WA-06) said. “I am proud to be a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, where we are unwavering in our commitment to standing alongside regular, everyday people and relentlessly fighting for a more just and inclusive future for everyone.”

A product of Washington’s 6th district, a former state senator, and a community organizer, Rep. Randall brings to the Caucus a passion for jobs, education, gun reform, and affordable healthcare for all. Her sister Olivia, born with disabilities, was a Medicaid recipient and has inspired Randall’s life as a healthcare advocate.
