WASHINGTON – Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) co-chairs Reps. Raúl M. Grijalva and Keith Ellison will be joined by several other members of the Caucus on Tuesday, Sept. 13, to introduce the Rebuild the American Dream Framework, the CPC’s jobs platform. Members will call for emergency jobs legislation above and beyond the President’s proposals to put even more people back to work.
The Framework comes directly from this summer’s nationwide Speak Out for Good Jobs Now! Rebuild the American Dream Tour, where real Americans talked aboutunemployment and the need for Congress to focus on jobs. Many CPC members joined these events, and thousands of Americans participated by telling their stories. Caucus members collected these stories and brought them back to Washington, where they synthesized them into the Rebuild the American Dream Framework.
