“We want to thank the thousands of Americans who came to Washington this week to remind lawmakers that people are facing very serious problems. Millions have lost their jobs and their homes and are now facing the prospect of losing their economic lifeline - unemployment insurance. We have heard you and we stand with you – the ninety-nine percent. This week the House of Representatives truly was The People’s House.
“It’s time for Republican politicians to open their doors to Americans who work for a living and not just to special interest lobbyists.”
