The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act (MORE) Act, introduced by Congressman Jerry Nadler, decriminalizes marijuana by removing it from the list of scheduled substances under the Controlled Substances Act and eliminating criminal penalties for an individual who manufactures, distributes, or possesses marijuana.
